I am a member of the technical advisory team cum the Programme Manager, Capacity development PFDE-SA since 2016 to date that was instrumental in creating an ‘Evaluation Movement’ in Sri Lanka. I develop proposals and manage projects that are/were launched to sensitize the Parliamentarians and Public Sector Officials. I was involved in implementing strategies and further advocacy to promote the NEP which led to move two motions creating history in the Parliament of Sri Lanka and launching of the Sri Lanka Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation. Now the NEP has been adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Sri Lanka.
I am a member of the Sri Lanka Evaluation Association (SLEvA) and was an active member of the Executive Council; Vice President 2014-2015, Jt. Secretary 2011-2014, Council Member 2015-2017, and involved in organising the annual conferences in the years 2013, 2015 and 2017. During my tenure as the Vice President of the Sri Lanka Evaluation Association I was instrumental in reactivating the advocacy campaign of SLEvA in 2015 to promote the draft NEP to the government department with the mandate for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
I am a member of the EvalSDGs and Spotlight team, actively contributing to the SDG implementation process in Sri Lanka. I am also a member of the Community of Evaluators South Asia (COE-SA) since 2014.
