With a steadfast commitment to climate action, my role as the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator centers on advancing Zimbabwe's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) and facilitating long-term, low-emission development strategies. The collaborative efforts under my support and coordination have been instrumental in mobilizing resources and building synergies across various sectors. We have set a benchmark in monitoring and progressing the ambitious climate action committments for the country. I have actively participated in the development of the country's NDC Implementation Plan and the LT-LEDS and NDC Investment Framework, a testament to our collective drive for sustainable development.
My expertise in political ecology and gender theory, combined with a profound understanding of development and natural resource management, strengthens my capacity to integrate these critical domains into climate resilience frameworks effectively. By bridging the gap between development partners and sectoral programs, I am steering impactful contributions towards Zimbabwe's climate commitments. It is a mission fueled by dedication, where every initiative is a stride towards a more resilient future.
