Impact Assessment/Program Evaluation for organisational learning and accountability. Strong in
assessing interventions for food security, resilience/DRR, organisational capacity, and gender change.
Action Research: have led action research on policies and themes relating to resilience, food security,
humanitarian response to food crisis, early warning systems, Disaster Risk Reduction, Community based
adaptation to climate change, sustainable agriculture, and local capacity building. Have strong analytical
capacity for gender sensitive policy and program reviews while strengthening partners’ ability for

organisational capacity and performance of NGO partners and grassroots organisations in governance,
strategic plans, program development, financial management, HR systems, and in country fundraising;

organisations incorporate socio-economic, gender and organisational development and policy analysis into
program and advocacy design; proven track record in strategic planning, and leading organisational change
Program Management in Rural Development: extensive experience in developing rural development
programs in ecologically fragile, and marginalized areas within a holistic perspective focused on agroecology and food systems, including food security, healthy diets, nutrition, rural livelihoods, DRR, Climate Change adaptation, savings and credit, community water and
sanitation
Networking and advocacy; ability to forge networks for advocacy and change and different levels, representation in Africa wide and regional (West Africa) alliances, engagement with local and national governments and donor agencies

Spanish and Dutch, key greetings and phrases in several West African languages
