MEAL Specialist

I have over 14 years of experience in the development sector. I have worked with different reputable organizations within Kenya, across Africa, and globally. My work has spanned diverse thematic areas including livelihoods, women’s economic empowerment, climate change, youth employment, digital and financial inclusion, and policy advocacy.

I specialize in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), with a proven track record in designing and leading MEAL systems, outcome harvesting, impact documentation, feminist MEAL approaches, and supporting programs to generate usable, credible data for decision-making and learning. I have successfully led multi-country evaluations, consortium-wide MEL frameworks, and capacity strengthening initiatives for local and women-led organizations.

Throughout my career, I have worked in both the non-profit and private sectors, providing technical leadership, building strategic partnerships, and supporting system change processes for long-term, sustainable impact. My experience includes working with Mastercard Foundation-funded initiatives, GSMA, Hand In Hand Eastern Africa, FEMNET, Action Aid International Kenya and grassroots women and youth-led organizations across the continent.

I bring a unique lens to development work one that combines data-driven learning with storytelling, gender sensitivity, and deep community engagement. I am passionate about driving inclusive change, amplifying marginalized voices, and ensuring that programs are not only accountable but also empowering to those they serve.
