PROFILE
Kobenan is Manager of the firm Innovation, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (iMERL) and a consultant specializing in research and evaluation/MERL, with over eight years of experience in the design of digital monitoring and evaluation systems, program evaluation, data analysis, complex project management, capacity building, and evidence-based systems development. He works primarily in the fields of nutrition, food security, development, and humanitarian aid. His interdisciplinary and international academic and professional background gives him an excellent, in-depth understanding of humanitarian and development issues. He also explores the use of artificial intelligence to improve evaluation practices. Since 2025, he has conducted research, training, and consulting activities in Africa on M&E systems and the use of evidence. He has developed monitoring and evaluation systems for programs funded by the European Union and Swiss Cooperation. He is an active member of the SCE, ReBuSE, and RF-Ee.
