With over two decades of experience in banking operations and information technology, I have consistently demonstrated leadership in driving operational excellence, strategic ICT initiatives, and organizational growth. Since April 2020, I have served as the Head of ICT and Operations at Mwalimu Commercial Bank PLC, reporting directly to the CEO. In this capacity, I oversee the bank's operations and ICT functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
Prior to this role, I was the Chief Operating Officer at Letshego Bank Tanzania Limited from June 2016 to May 2019, where I led operations, IT, and administrative functions, focusing on service delivery and risk management. Between February 2009 and June 2016, I held various positions at African Banking Corporation (T) Ltd – BancABC, including Operations Manager and Core Banking System upgrade team member, contributing to system enhancements and process improvements across multiple countries. Earlier in my career, I worked at Citibank Tanzania Limited in roles ranging from Assistant Administrator to Head of Fund Transfer, where I managed operations, security, and administrative functions, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance.
