A former President of Canadian Evaluation Society Andy has over forty years in evaluation. He was an early contributor to mainstreaming environmental sustainability in evaluation; initiated the Canadian Evaluation Society effort to mainstream environmental sustainability and was a member of the inaugural Evaluation Reference Group of the Adaptation Fund. His Rapid Impact Evaluation method is a use-seeking method designed to incorporate environment into evaluation. He continues to contribute to methods and practice through publications in peer reviewed outlets, webinars, workshops and conference keynote addresses.  As a founding member of Footprint Evaluation Andy has contributed to important tools and practices for sustainability-inclusive evaluation, developing capacities, advised sustainability-inclusive evaluations and promoted the necessity of including environment in evaluation. Andy has a PhD from the London School of Economics, is a Fellow of the Canadian Evaluation Society and was recognised by the Society for his contributions to evaluation. His development work has been wide ranging, for example urban environmental services and slum housing; community based marine initiatives, marine protected areas, energy efficiency and sustainability normative knowledge efforts.
