I am a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) specialist with strong expertise in research, data management, and advanced data analysis. My professional work involves designing monitoring and evaluation systems, conducting policy and programme evaluations, and supporting evidence-based decision-making. I have extensive experience using analytical tools such as Advanced Excel, STATA, SPSS, NVivo, Power BI, and mobile data collection platforms including Kobo Toolbox and ODK to generate insights for development programmes and policy processes.
Professionally, I serve as a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (Uganda), where I support monitoring of private sector development programmes and translate field-level evidence into policy recommendations that inform planning and investment decisions. I also contribute to professional capacity development as an Associate Consultant at the Uganda Management Institute (UMI), where I train postgraduate students and practitioners in monitoring, evaluation, and data analytics. In addition, I actively contribute to the global evaluation community through leadership roles in the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) and the Uganda Evaluation Association, supporting knowledge exchange and strengthening evaluation practice across Africa.
Beyond my professional work, I am personally engaged in agricultural production as a youth farmer in Kayunga District, Uganda. My farming activities focus on cocoa and coffee production, which contribute to rural livelihoods while promoting environmental sustainability through tree-based agricultural systems that support soil conservation, carbon sequestration, and ecosystem protection. I am also investing in climate-smart agriculture practices, including solar-powered irrigation, to improve resilience to climate variability and enhance productivity.
Through this combination of evaluation expertise, policy engagement, and hands-on agricultural practice, I contribute practical and analytical perspectives to discussions on food security, rural development, climate change, and environmental sustainability.
