Work experience
I have over 10 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), providing strategic technical support in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for the implementation of several development projects in West Africa, as well as for the development of an implementation plan for a project in the Philippines. My work has included designing and operationalizing MEL plans, conducting baseline, mid-term and annual surveys, managing project databases, calculating performance indicators, and developing interactive Power BI dashboards to support evidence-based decision-making.
I have coordinated data collection processes with field teams and institutional partners, including criminal courts, courts of appeal and agricultural producer organizations. I have also managed MEL and training databases, including ImpactCoop and TIMS, and trained field coordinators on monitoring and evaluation principles, tools and systems.
Within USAID-funded projects such as Yidgiri and REGIS-AG, I contributed to MEL plan design, baseline studies, field supervision, annual evaluation surveys, indicator performance analysis, database management and the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports. I also conducted an impact study on the effects of COVID-19 on economic actors and livestock markets, and supported organizational diagnostics to strengthen producer organizations’ institutional structure and management capacities.
In previous roles, I led the monitoring and evaluation of multiple projects by designing activity dashboards, developing tools to track outputs and outcomes, preparing progress reports, participating in joint monitoring missions with technical and financial partners, and contributing to the capitalization of project results and good practices, including approaches promoting inclusive, equitable and gender-sensitive learning environments.
