I am an international development and sustainability consultant and Group President and CEO of Daira Sabz (DS) Consulting & Engineering Group. My expertise includes programme evaluation, climate-smart agriculture, livelihoods, environmental and social assessment, climate adaptation, biodiversity, and natural resource management. I have led and contributed to baseline studies, field surveys, and evaluations in Afghanistan, including the NCA/UNDP agribusiness value chain evaluation, the Aga Khan Foundation’s FREESIA forest restoration final evaluation, and a UNDP–GEF snow leopard conservation midterm evaluation. I have also delivered climate-smart agriculture training and worked on research that connects environmental change with rural livelihoods. I combine quantitative and qualitative evidence, local stakeholder engagement, and practical recommendations to support programme design and learning.
