I am a graduate of Microbiology from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, recently engaged by IOM - UN Migration as DTM (Displacement Tracking Matrix) Field Consultant where I conducted in-depth Key Informant interviews (KII) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) among women groups, men groups and youths, stakeholders at different levels on specific subject matter (with consent and transcribed collected data based on DTM methodology. I was also responsible for synchronizing information collected on the field to the server and providing timely reports to the Field Operations Manager according to the standards & requirements of the DTM program.
Previously, I was engaged as Technical Assistant on the 2025 SMC Microplanning and Personnel Database Development and Finalization at Malaria Consortium in the FCT where I collaborated with LGA teams, Ward Focal Persons, traditional leaders, Officers in Charge (OiCs) of all SMC implementing facilities and other partners to ensure accountability and quality in the personnel selected for the 2025 SMC database. I also verified and uploaded 1300 personnel details using Kobo Collect.
During my time as Data Reviewer at Malaria Consortium, I conducted SMC Commodity Audit and Malaria Commodity Survey in 20 PHC’s across 20 communities and 11 wards in Kokona LGA in Nasarawa State. I also conducted Key Informant interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with relevant partners and Malaria Consortium personnel that participated in 2024 commodity management and service delivery and transcribed accordingly.
During my time as Research Supervisor at Malaria Consortium, under the Enhanced Seasonal Malaria Vaccination Project, Kebbi State, I supervised the activities of ten (10) data collectors and provided weekly and end of data collection report highlighting the state specific community entry uniqueness and outliers, data collection process, key challenges, lessons learned and recommendations to MC research Specialist. I also ensured all recordings where appropriately transcribed and submitted timely.
I worked as Consultant with ActionAid on the Humanitarian Response for Cholera Outbreak in Bauchi State, where I supported the recruitment, monitoring and training of volunteers in the disinfection of HH (Households) with positive cases of cholera. I also conducted Key Informant Interviews with selected participants transcribed all sessions and submitted tp the MEAL team.
While I was working as Data Clerk in medical record unit of General Hospital, Minna, Niger State, under USAID/Management Sciences for Health HIV/AIDS (CATSS) Project, where I was afforded the opportunity to give phsycho-social support, document and track newly initiated patients on HIV, updated different Health Management Information Tools (registers and forms) and generate reports on program indicators.
