I have a background in Public Health and about 6 years of work experience in Public Health Programme intervention and evaluation, providing technical support to the District and State Government and liason closely with the stakeholders and decision makers to implement health programmes and report on the progress.
I have been part of Immunization Programme from November 2020 to December 2022 at Sikkim and the core work responsibilities included Planning and execution of all activities related to eVIN (Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network) implementation in the designated district in close coordination with District Immunization Officer, undertake field visits to monitor the implementation of the system and address gaps and bottlenecks in the implementation of eVIN, Capacity building of Cold Chain Handlers by conducting training sessions and training of newly recruited staff, prepare periodic status reports, monthly reports, case studies etc in a qualitative and timely manner. Further, I was also involved in roll out of Supportive Supervision application for monitoring and supervision of Routine Immunization sessions and Cold chain points at various Health care levels. Prior to that , I was working with ‘State Health Resource Centre’, Chhattisgarh for a period of 1.5 years under the Comprehensive Primary Health care Programme for operationalization of subcentres into Health and wellness centres.
Currently, I am involved with ‘Campbell South Asia', New Delhi as a ‘Research fellow’ and working under various projects.
