I bring over 10 years of significant experience with progressive responsibilities in forestry, rural economy, human migration and mobility, and labour standards and practices. The forestry sector experience includes working with community forest groups, protected areas, national parks, the environment, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. The rural economy included eco-tourism, agriculture, timber, and non-timber-based sustainable resources management and income generation, ensuring equitable gender and inclusion and adhering to the international labour standards and practices. With over 25 years of international development and research background, I reviewed multiple cross-cutting funding proposals, evaluated many of them, and provided technical and policy support in forestry, agriculture, construction and tourism sectors. I contributed to and developed policy briefs, working papers, success stories, and good practices, and disseminated them. I have conducted capacity need assessments and designed program proposals addressing them. He has substantive experience in providing technical backstopping to governments and development partners to design, develop, implement, monitor, and report development cooperation activities.
I have also provided technical services and worked in 20 different countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
