Bright Chisadza is a multidisciplinary expert specializing in agroecology, climate-resilient food systems, and sustainable land and water management. He recently defended his PhD in Agroecology and Food Systems at Uganda Martyrs University (UMU), where his research focused on the spatiotemporal dynamics of land use and climate variability, and their implications for smallholder farming and agroecosystem resilience in semi-arid Zimbabwe. With over 15 years of experience across academia, government, and development sectors, Bright has consistently advanced integrated approaches that bridge scientific innovation, indigenous knowledge, and policy action to transform food systems. His work contributes to promoting land degradation neutrality, drought risk reduction, and adaptive strategies for vulnerable farming communities using geospatial tools and participatory methodologies.
