A global thought leader in food loss and waste reduction, postharvest systems development, agricultural marketing, and value chain strengthening. Experience and competencies developed over twenty-five years of continuous skills acquisition and application. Areas of expertise include developing technical and policy solutions to reduce food losses and waste, developing postharvest management strategies, commodity handling and trading operations, researching and managing commodity microenvironments, storage systems, and strategic food reserves management, including FLW M&E systems. This expertise has been deployed to support interventions to strengthen market linkages and the ongoing global efforts to reduce food losses and waste. I have provided technical and policy support to U.N. Agencies, the African Union, Regional Economic Communities, Governments, development agencies, the private sector, and farming communities.
