I am Christian Njobvu, and I am passionate about leveraging data, evaluation, and strategic insights to drive meaningful development outcomes. With a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems for donor-funded projects, I have gained extensive experience in enhancing education and development through data-driven decision-making. Currently, I play a key role in the Schools Readiness Initiative (SRI), where I lead the development of comprehensive M&E frameworks that track critical indicators—such as children’s developmental milestones—aligning with both national policies and international standards.
Throughout my work, I have supported district-level data collection efforts, ensuring broad participation across regions, and strengthened teacher capacity through data-informed training programs. My skills span advanced data management and visualization with tools like Power BI, SPSS, Excel, and Google Sheets, as well as digital data collection platforms such as Kobo Toolbox and Survey CTO. I have also employed GPE KIX MEL tools to enhance program monitoring and organizational learning.
My professional scope includes conducting baseline, midterm, and final evaluations, routine Data Quality Assessments, and internal M&E reporting. I’ve managed learning systems, coordinated training on data collection, and monitored projects ranging from preschool infrastructure development to parental engagement and child-centered tools like Child Steps. These experiences have helped me contribute to shaping early childhood education standards, policies, and program effectiveness through strategic analysis and multi-sector collaboration.
