Work Experience

Catalyst Management Services | Programme Associate (Monitoring, Evaluation & Research)
In my current role at Catalyst Management Services, I work across programmes on food security, livelihoods, and public health, with a unifying focus on strengthening community resilience in rural contexts. My work centers on understanding how livelihood capacity, local institutions, and community agency interact to enable adaptive and sustainable development outcomes. I support monitoring and learning processes that foreground lived experiences, community feedback, and resilience pathways, ensuring that evaluation frameworks remain grounded in local socio-economic realities rather than extractive indicators.

Feminist Innovation in Monitoring and Evaluation (FIME) Small Awards – Global Evaluation Initiative (World Bank-administered)
As a recipient of the FIME Small Awards, I led an applied research project exploring semiotics and intuitive competencies in evaluation practice. The project examined how evaluators can better capture local meanings, symbols, and social cues. The work contributes to rethinking evaluator skill sets beyond technical tools, emphasizing interpretive and context-sensitive approaches.

UN Women – Asia Pacific Regional Office | Evaluation and Research Intern
At UN Women, I was part of core evaluation teams contributing to country portfolio evaluations and feminist collaborative evaluations on social norms.

Political Consultant and Researcher | Varahe Analytics
As a political consultant, I worked on narrative strategy, sentiment analysis, and field research to integrate unheard and marginalized voices into mainstream political discourse. My work focused on translating community concerns, often from rural and high-risk regions, into policy-relevant narratives, contributing to more inclusive and responsive governance processes. This experience strengthened my understanding of how political systems can either enable or constrain community resilience.

Member – Gender and Equity Network for South Asia (GENSA)
As an active member of GENSA, I contribute to regional conversations on gender, equity, and evaluation practice in the Global South, with particular interest in collaborative learning, south–south knowledge exchange, and context-responsive evaluation methodologies.
