Ms Mahsin Hamuda took up his post as Monitoring & Evaluation Officer of the Sustainable Renewable Energy Power Generation (SREPGen) Project, UNDP in October 2016. Mahsin has professional expertise in monitoring, evaluation and research arena for more than 10 years. Prior to joining UNDP, she worked with CIDA, MEASURE Evaluation of USAID, and World Bank working on health, education, climate change adaptation, agriculture and biodiversity. Her key proficiency includes Results-Based Management System (RBMS), Database development and management, Reporting, Project Design & Writing Quality Proposal, Survey and Impact Study. She has sound proficiency in conducting baseline survey, mid-term evaluation and impact study & analysis of data (both qualitative and quantitative) and interpretation of result by using various statistical software (e.g. Excel, Access, SPSS, STATA, Arc GIS and MS Project). Mahsin’s expertise was mostly demonstrated to the economic development of ultra-poor people and her significant accomplishments were the establishment of Monitoring & Evaluation System in different organizations, writing project proposal, preparation of indicator guideline for HPNSDP program 2011-2016 and publishing the “Socio-Economic and Demographic Indicators of Bangladesh”, November’11 for tracking progress of MDG. She obtained her B.Sc. (Honors) and M.S. degree from the Department of Geography and Environment, University of Dhaka.
