I’m a Cameroonian health economist with over eight years of experience in implementing health financing policies, particularly in the areas of user fee exemptions and health vouchers. Currently serving as an Associate Technical Expert at Strategic Purchasing and System Performance, I’m engaged in operational research to map progress in strategic health purchasing for universal health coverage in Cameroon. My previous role as a Health Economist for Management For Health/GIZ involved designing comprehensive reports on public health expenditure, utilizing the World Bank's FINHEALTH tool to analyze health financing in relation to universal health coverage policies. I have a proven track record in project management and economic evaluation, having worked on diverse health programs including community health, HIV/AIDS, and the performance-based financing model in Chad. I hold a Ph.D. in Health Economics from the University of Yaoundé II, alongside a Master's in Mathematical Economics and a Master's in Economic and Financial Engineering. My technical expertise includes advanced proficiency in statistical software such as STATA and R, and I’m fluent in both French and English. Additionally, I have contributed significantly to various regional and international health initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders, including government ministries, civil society organizations, and international partners, to enhance health service delivery and strengthen health systems. My references include prominent professionals in health economics and policy, underscoring my commitment to improving health outcomes in the region through strategic analysis and effective policy recommendations.
