1.JUNIOR RESEARCHER (Administrative)

General Administration:
- Administrative support for all CLEAR AA Staff, correspondence and reporting when required. The overall assistance to the administrative staff with daily functions so as to ensure that the CLEAR office operates efficiently and effectively. Administration support in planning and co-ordinating key meetings and workshops. Assist with the logistics, facilitation and administration for training and dissemination of learning, events and workshops. Provide support in other areas as may be required on an adhoc basis from CLEAR staff.
Support to the Programme Administrative Officer:
- Procurement of travel and accommodation for CLEAR Staff and participants as and when required, also ensure the allocations of these costs are correctly reflected in the CLEAR budget system. Ensure that the dates are set and that venues and catering are sourced and secured. Drawing up template of invitees, including contact details, roles and records responses. Refine lists as required. Creating a folder of relevant information, including marketing materials and stationery for participants. Ordering stationery under guidance by the programme administrative officer. Creating check list of service providers including type of supply and deadlines.
Programme Management Officer:
- Assist with updating the CLEAR policies and procedure manual. Data collection, review of administrative documents, management of database and archives.
Director:
- Filing for the Director on a regular basis. Provide support in other areas as may be required on an adhoc basis from the Programme Administrative Officer and CLEAR staff.
Remuneration package: R150 000 per annum

2. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Health Sciences Research Office, University Of The Witwatersrand, July 2014 – June 2016
Research Courses Administration:
- Coordinating short courses dates, times and venues (approximately 90 sessions a year) through email and intranet.
- Arranging audio-visual requirements.
- Receiving invoices for payments, liaising with the administrative secretary to ensure payments are made.
- Liaising with lecturers regarding requirements for courses.
- Liaising with departments regarding information for postgraduate students, maintaining distribution lists and databases for postgraduate students.
- Producing Microsoft Office PowerPoint presentations for display on the digital screens across the Faculty of Health Sciences main buildings
- Administering postgraduate hub activities, assisting with research day arrangements, prestigious research lectures, postgraduate t-shirts and any other projects related to postgraduate short courses administration.

3. RESEARCH MANAGEMENT INTERN

- Responsible for organizing and distributing the Faculty Symposium abstracts.
- Updating the Applied Statistical Methods course data using Microsoft Office PowerPoint Presentation.
- Servicing the Research Committee Meetings, receiving and collating the Research Committee Grants awardees’ documents (i.e. Ethics certificates and Proof of Protocol approval).
- Populating information and sourcing Oracle codes from the Finance Office.

Remuneration package: R66 000 per annum
