I’m an economist by training and by passion. I work at the intersection of data, humanitarian response, and development, blending rigorous economic research to help design smarter, more effective policies and programmes.

Currently at the UN World Food Programme, I support the impact evaluation team in answering complex questions, like what would have happened if the organization hadn’t acted, or which intervention modality delivers the greatest impact for every dollar spent. My role spans coordination, field research, data management, cost-effectiveness analysis, and strategic advising. I work closely with country offices, research teams, and decision-makers to ensure evidence is practical, timely, and centered on the needs of vulnerable communities.

Thank you all for your valuable insights and contributions. You raised many important points about strengthening the link between Impact Evaluation findings and real-time decision-making. This week, we would love to hear more from you, particularly on localizing evidence and exploring How can impact evaluations be designed and used to better serve the localization agenda, ensuring that local priorities, capacities, and contexts inform policy and programmes We look forward to your reflections and continued engagement.

Thanks everyone for joining this discussion! The discussion note raises several important points about how evidence partnerships can strengthen coherence, improve decision-making, and support the broader UN reform agenda. I’m opening this thread so we can unpack these ideas together.

Please feel free to jump in with your questions, reflections, or practical examples from your own work. This week, we want to hear more from you what are the most effective ways the UN and its partners can strengthen the link between impact evaluation findings and real-time decision-making. If you have examples, it would be great to hear them!
