I conduct food security, resilience and well-being analyses for informing FAO programming in countries as Uganda, Mauritania, Mali, Tanzania, South Sudan, West Bank and Gaza Strip; and impact evaluation analyses of UN enhancing-resilience strategies, working in close collaboration with Regional Institutions, National Bureaus of Statistics, Governments, FAO Country Offices and UN Agencies.

    Measuring resilience-building in Karamoja, Uganda

    This impact evaluation was particularly interesting in that it looked at various interventions by different agencies and also accounted for changing circumstances over time. Karamoja, in the northeast of the country, is highly vulnerable to food insecurity, limited resources and climate variability.
