Mr Samuel KOUAKOU is the Vice-President of the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA).
He is the former Deputy Director of Evaluation and Sustainability in the Directorate of Projects Evaluation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Côte d’Ivoire.
He has an extensive experience in national and international public and private evaluation and author of several papers on Monitoring and Evaluation.
Mr KOUAKOU is President of the Ivorian Initiative for Evaluation (2IEval) and member of several monitoring and evaluation networks (AfrEA, EES, IDEAS, IOCOM).
Mr. Kouakou holds a Diploma in International Environmental Law from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), a Master’s degree in Rural Engineering from the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2IE), and several post-graduate certificates in International Projects Management, Integrated Water Resources Management, Gender mainstreaming, Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation, and a E-Learning tutor certificate from the Association of Francophone Universities (AUF).
Mr KOUAKOU is an active member of the “Enabling environment Task Force” of EvalPartners and member of the editorial committee of the French special edition of the African Evaluation Journal.
