Simone Staiger-Rivas is a senior knowledge manager at the Alliance of Bioversity-International and the International Center of Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). She has more than 20 years of experience in supporting and innovating with the organization and research for development programs in the areas of communications, knowledge sharing, data and information management, capacity development as well as monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL). Currently, Simone is working at SERVIR-Amazonia, a USAID and NASA funded Program that aims to promote the use of satellite data and information to improve environmental decision-making in the Amazon. She is leading the team on Communications, KM and MEL.
