Dr. Sujayasree OJ is a scientist specializing in Postharvest Technology of horticultural crops, with expertise in product development, food process optimization, food quality and safety analysis, and food safety management systems. She is currently working at the World Vegetable Center, a leading international agricultural R&D institute operating across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Her work focuses on advancing healthy diets, food security, and climate resilience through innovative postharvest solutions.
With a Ph.D. in Postharvest Technology from ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, and research experience, Dr. Sujayasree has contributed significantly to sustainable postharvest management, supply chain efficiency, and value addition. She has worked across South Asia and Southeast Asia, focusing on vegetable value chains, safe vegetable production, and postharvest innovations to reduce food losses and enhance market potential.
