I am Teklebirhan Alemnew, a researcher at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in Ethiopia. Prior to this role, I served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Arba Minch University for over 10 years, where I was involved in teaching, community service, and research. I also worked as a researcher at Spiritan Community Outreach Ethiopia (SCORE) for more than 2 years, focusing on evaluating the impact of conservation agriculture projects. My current research interests include poverty, nutrition, food security, macroeconomic policy, and project impact evaluation. I hold an MA in International and Development Economics from the University of Namur, Belgium, an MSc in Economic Policy Analysis from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and a BA in Economics from Wollo University, Ethiopia.
