I work at the intersection of research and policy, specifically economic development and international cooperation. I am passionate about evidence based policy making and have more than eigh years of work experience. Prior to joining the DEval, I worked at the World Bank´s social protection and job unit on advising governments on adaptive social protection systems. I also worked as a researcher on development economics at the University of Hannover and have a PhD in economics. My area of expertise include poverty dynamics, sustainable development, social protection and COVID-19 response measures. At the moment, I am leading a team that works on supporting rigorous impact evaluations within the field of German development cooperation.
