EvalforEarth Call for Speakers at gLOCAL 2026!
gLOCAL Evaluation Week returns from 1–5 June 2026 under the theme: “Evaluation, Evidence, and Trust in the Age of AI.” The annual initiative brings together evaluation practitioners and policymakers from around the world to exchange knowledge and reflect on emerging challenges for the field.
As part of the programme, EvalforEarth will host a series of community webinars and panel discussions featuring insights from its Community of Practice on evaluation for Food Security, Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Development.
These sessions will explore how evaluation practice can maintain trust and credibility in an AI-augmented world. Speakers will share lessons and experiences from work across food security, agriculture, environment, and rural development, highlighting how evaluation can adapt to new technologies while continuing to support informed decision-making.
Interested in speaking at gLOCAL 2026?
Members of the EvalforEarth Community of Practice are invited to share their perspectives and experiences in English or French or Spanish.
Possible contribution topics include:
- Strategic and institutional perspectives on AI and evaluation
- Trust, credibility, and ethics in AI-supported evidence
- Lessons from practical experiences in using AI responsibly
- Perspectives from emerging evaluators working with AI
- Ideas for strengthening collaboration, capacity, and community engagement
How to participate:
If you would like to contribute as a speaker, please send a short expression of interest by 25 March 2026 to info@evalforearth.org, briefly indicating your proposed topic in line with the theme.
Once speakers are confirmed, the session format and preparatory meetings will be shared.
