Procasur

Program Manager

Since 2012, I have been working with Procasur as Programme Manager and Knowledge Management Specialist, leading the design and implementation of complex knowledge-sharing and capacity-development programmes, primarily across African countries, with additional experience in Latin America and Asia.

As part of my work with Procasur, I have organized and facilitated numerous multi-regional learning initiatives, workshops, and Learning Routes targeting UN project teams, civil society organizations, and government officials. These initiatives have addressed key rural development themes such as land and natural resource governance, climate change adaptation, nutrition and food security, value chain development, and the social inclusion of vulnerable groups, including youth, women, indigenous peoples, farmers’ organizations, and persons with disabilities.

Within Procasur, I oversee quality assurance, coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships, and ensure effective communication and alignment among project teams, government institutions, and civil society organizations. In recent years, I have designed and applied qualitative research methods and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to identify, document, and scale up good practices, innovations, and project outcomes.

Between 2004 and 2008, I collaborated with IFAD as a consultant supporting various divisions on indigenous peoples’ issues, providing monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge-generation services. My assignments included working with the Office of Evaluation as an expert on indigenous peoples for the Country Evaluation in Argentina; elaborating strategic and analytical papers for the Latin America and Caribbean Division; and conducting field-based monitoring of community-based tourism initiatives under the Regional Programme for Indigenous Peoples of the Amazon Basin (PRAIA) in Bolivia and Peru.
