Evaluation should be relevant for the Agenda 2030 and the principle of Leaving No One Behind (LNOB). This implies the integration of Gender Equality, Disability and Human Rights (GEDHR) with a practical and concrete approach, easy to implement by evaluation practitioners.
In this session, we explored:
- Recent developments in the area, including the UN System-wide Action Plan on Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN SWAP) 3.0
- The UN Disability Inclusion Strategy (UN DIS) accountability framework
- The revised United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) guidance on the integration of human rights and gender in evaluations
The session took place on 12 December 2024 from 15:00 to 16:30 Rome time (GMT+1).
