Communicating for impact: Sharing knowledge in development contexts

ONLINE

SIANI’s Knowledge Series brings expert groups, partners, and communities together this autumn through webinars and a regional meeting in Kenya to explore how communication, connection, recognition and shared knowledge drive real change across the agri-food system. As a part of the this knowledge of series, SIANI brings you the first activity, “Communicating for impact: Sharing knowledge in development contexts.”

How can communication help agri-food organisations create meaningful change? And what can organisations achieve when time and resources for communication are limited?

Join us for a webinar to explore how communication can be used as a tool for impact in development contexts. Learn how to reach the right audiences, craft strong messages, and make communication successful. In this webinar, organisations and communication experts will share practical experiences and examples of what has worked – and what hasn’t – when seeking to influence policies and practices in the agrifood system.

Purpose

The purpose of the webinar is to share experiences and best practices for communicating science/knowledge in low-income contexts, drawing on the work of SIANI expert groups and other organisations working with similar issues and in similar contexts.
