I am an international development professional focused on digital development solutions and digital skills building for educational, health, agriculture, financial and political stakeholders in low-resource environments. Through my work, I have collaborated with numerous international organizations such as UNESCO, UNITAR, GIZ and tech companies like Facebook, Mozilla, Opera, Orange, Samsung and KaiOS to develop ICT4D programs in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and South Asia.
As a PhD candidate at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, I am researching how new technologies and new financing models in international development affect democratization in Africa.
I lead a course on program design in international development the Barcelona Institute of International Studies where graduate students have an opportunity to learn how to design social impact projects and develop funding proposals.
I am a co-organizer of the Barcelona International Development Professionals group through which I support the development of the Barcelona-based network of international development consultants and professionals.
