Thevan is a strategic and solutions-oriented Social Scientist with more than two decades of experience in socio-economic development, governance and transformation. Her approach to development is driven by a robust intersectional gender lens. She is also a GRI Certified Sustainability professional with expertise in social impact monitoring and evaluation (M&E), capacity building, action research, systems thinking, thought leadership, advocacy, policy influence, organisation development (incl. DEIB), strategic planning and programme management.
She has provided technical consulting and advisory services to several civil society organisations, the public, private, academic sectors and multilateral donor agencies across sub-Saharan Africa. Her contributions spans across the following development disciplines: sustainable livelihoods, land, labour, climate justice, health and education systems, gender and youth, local economic development (rural and urban), governance and accountability.
