Work Experience – Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Sengerema District Council – Mwanza, Tanzania

As an M&E Officer, I support the design, implementation, and review of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for district programmes. My work covers education, health, and nutrition projects, including the School Feeding Services in public primary schools.
I coordinate data collection from schools and health facilities, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. I analyse performance indicators, conduct field visits, and provide feedback for programme improvement. I also prepare quarterly and annual M&E reports for the District Executive Director and sectoral ministries.
In addition, I facilitate community monitoring sessions, train headteachers and health staff on data management, and strengthen accountability through participatory approaches. I have collaborated with NGOs and development partners such as WFP, UNICEF, and Plan International in implementing and monitoring donor-supported projects.
Through this role, I have developed strong skills in evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based planning to support better service delivery in the district.
