I worked as a MEAL manager in the health sector for an NGO (Médecins du Monde-Spain, Burkina Faso)
my responsibilities were:
- Establishment of a system for monitoring and evaluating NGO projects
- Development of a framework for measuring the performance of NGO projects.
- Definition of indicators relating to health rights, including the prevention and treatment of child malnutrition and the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and young people.
- Implementation of the theory of change.
- Capacity building for local partners responsible for implementation.
- Development of tools for health data collection, monitoring and data quality assurance.
- Data processing, analysis and production of study reports.
- Preparation of periodic reports and end-of-project evaluations.
- Participation in research activities: studies on the sexual health of adolescent girls and women aged 10 to 24, assessment of the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries of project interventions.
I also worked in monitoring and evaluation for the World Bank as a consultant: iterative monitoring with beneficiaries, data analysis, and preparation of technical reports on the following programs:
- The socio-economic impact of COVID-19 in Chad and Gabon; monitoring of the RAMED project in Mali; monitoring of the project to build/rehabilitate community infrastructure for water, health and education in Niger.
- Collection and analysis of survey data and production of a study report as part of the ‘iterative monitoring of beneficiaries on the use of cash transfers and the process of targeting beneficiaries of the Social Safety Nets project in Burkina Faso.’
Interviews with six industrial sectors in Burkina Faso on the adoption of new technologies. Transcription of interviews, data analysis and production of the study report.
I also worked in research centers where I played the role of data manager.
