Dr. Guido Ropers has been working as a consultant and project manager at Arepo since 2022. The focus of his work is on the evaluation of national funding programs. He is currently leading, on behalf of Arepo, the evaluation of the indirect price compensation as well as the EEW funding guideline, each commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Policy. Previously, he was the project manager for the evaluation of the agricultural export promotion program of the BMLEH.
Prior to his work at Arepo, Guido Ropers was a research associate in the fields of political science, international political economy, and quantitative methods at the University of Mannheim, and worked as a scientific editorial assistant for the academic journal American Political Science Review. He earned his PhD in political science from the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim.
