Pinky Mgobozi is a South African development practitioner with experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning and Accountability (MERLA), governance, programme evaluation, community-led accountability, and technology-enabled systems. She has worked with community-based organisations, civil society structures, and multi-stakeholder initiatives focusing on gender-based violence prevention, rural development, youth leadership, education, and public accountability. Her work includes MERLA capacity strengthening, theory of change development, indicator design, evaluation support, and the use of digital systems to improve evidence collection, coordination, learning, and reporting. She is also interested in African and feminist approaches to evidence and the role of AI in strengthening inclusive and context-responsive evaluation practice.
