- Agroecology, organic agriculture and sustainable agriculture practices;
- Farming and cropping system research;
- Experiences in agricultural value chains (cocoa, palm oil, cotton, vegetable, cereals, and pulses);
- Agricultural innovation system perspective (the place of innovation intermediaries), extension and advisory services;
- Adoption and diffusion of innovations;
- Innovation processes and the role of innovation support services in fostering the adoption of agroecological techniques;
