Wanjiru Nderitu (Ph.d) has over a decade of extensive experience as Monitoring and evaluation Practitioner; integrating Made in Africa Evaluation approaches with contemporary Monitoring and Evaluation Perspectives. Work experience revolves around pedagogical guidance in developing Made in Africa Evaluation Frameworks that are culturally responsive, founded on Afrocentric Philosophies. This entails contextualizing project activities as stipulated in diverse project documents and weaving in African Indigenous Knowledge systems that incorporate cultural values with community science; with validity, explicability and practical application. Dr. Nderitu has demonstrated experience in supporting interventions that contribute towards improving the lives of youths and marginalized communities through varied social –development empowerment save; voice asymmetries and power dynamics that challenge African Ideologies and innovative cultural Practices.  She Is well conversant with donor funding, generation of Request for Proposals (RFP), Project budgeting and policy formulation all skewed towards Made in Africa Indigenous approaches.  Dr. Nderitu is also a Senior Lecturer and a   coordinator of   Monitoring and Evaluation Programme at the School of Business Studies; Post graduate Level of Africa Nazarene University.  She is proficient in other academic fields as well that are not limited to Project planning and Management;  Leadership and Ethics, Online learning Pedagogy and curriculum development, Gender and other emerging issues and as Africa Evaluation Journal (AEJ) Associate Editor. She bears a wealth of National and Regional engagement in Monitoring and evaluation Forums and Webinars. She is a seasoned mentor for the Presidential Digital talent, Information Communication Technology of Government of Kenya.
