The Paper is based (i) on a review of the M&E systems across the 74 World Bank-supported agricultural and rural development (ARD) projects, that were implemented over the last 15 years in the South and East Asia regions and for which TCI has assisted in the preparation of the Implementation Completion and the more recent Implementation Completion and Results Reports (ICRs/ICRRs), and (ii) on a review of the M&E systems designed for new project operations within the Bank’s recently introduced results-based framework.
