"Closing the Feedback Loop – From Insight to Action"
We all know feedback and evaluation findings are meant to guide better decisions. Yet in practice, too many valuable insights never make it past the report stage.
From my experience, turning feedback into action depends on: 1. Leadership that models learning – when leaders actively act on recommendations, teams follow. 2. Built-in feedback pathways – integrating insights directly into planning, budgeting, and review cycles. 3. A culture of trust – where feedback is welcomed as a tool for growth, not as a threat.
The result? More relevant programmes, stronger community trust, and teams that feel ownership over improvement.
If we can make feedback use a habit rather than an afterthought, we don’t just improve projects – we strengthen accountability and credibility across the board.
How have you embedded evaluation findings into your decision-making cycles? Practical examples are welcome.
