This session will explore the use of Outcome Harvesting to evaluate the Circular Food Systems for Rwanda Project, addressing the challenges and successes of measuring long-term, indirect impacts in circular food systems and climate resilience programs. The session will highlight the key outcome harvesting lessons as well as sustainability lessons. It will also showcase the best practices and limitations of using this approach. Objectives

This session will explore practical and adaptive ways to measure impact in circular and climate resilience programming. Drawing from the Circular Food Systems for Rwanda (CIRF) project, funded by the IKEA Foundation, facilitators will showcase how participatory methods like Outcome Harvesting (OH) can reveal system-level, indirect, and behavioural outcomes. The session will combine presentation, real-time engagement, and reflection on evaluation design in complex environments.
